If MNS is taken with MNS in Mumbai municipal elections, MNS will not get votes from foreigners. Therefore, Chief Minister Eknath Shinde group and BJP should not take MNS with them. Union Minister of State and Republican Party National President Ramdas Athawale has given a clear stand that there is no need for MNS as the Shinde group is currently with RPI and BJP.

Nitish cabinet has expanded in Bihar. 31 ministers have been sworn in. The 31 ministers include 16 RJD, 11 JDU, one Hindustani Awam Morcha and one independent MLA. Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia has written a letter to the Lt. Governor demanding that the CBI investigate the Rs 6000 crore toll tax scam in the Delhi Municipal Corporation. In his letter, Sisodia said that the money taken from around 10 lakh commercial vehicles plying in Delhi every day was extorted in connivance, and also asserted that if an honest inquiry was conducted, senior BJP leaders would be in jail.
