The first phase of Cabinet expansion of Chief Minister Eknath Shinde has finally been completed and a total of 18 ministers have been sworn in. After the swearing-in ceremony at Raj Bhavan, it is said that there is a lot of displeasure in the Eknath Shinde group. However, there is no discontent among the MLAs in the government after the cabinet expansion. Also, Minister Atul Save has said that Chief Minister Eknath Shinde and Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis are capable of removing the displeasure of MLAs. Also, Save has informed that Chief Minister Eknath Shinde and Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis will hold a discussion and take a decision regarding account allocation.

The Mahavikas Aghadi government had increased the number of wards to 236 for the upcoming Mumbai Municipal Corporation elections. Eknath Shinde and Devendra Fadnavis government has changed it and re-divided 227 wards, new reservation lottery will have to be drawn. Also, new voter lists have to be done ward wise.
